Coding & Indexing
D-Core coding and indexing process allows a large group of documents to be easily searched, arranged, reviewed, and further prioritized by members of the client staff. D-Core specially trained coding staff provides this capability utilizing both human talent and technology, allowing you to locate key documents in a matter of seconds. Specific data elements are captured according to the client's specifications to allow for very fast searching through many documents.
Bibliographic coding items such as author, recipient, subject, Bates numbers, document type, title, and many other data elements can be captured according to your unique case specifications and output to various popular litigation support packages, including Summation™, Concordance®, and many more. The full text of many documents can be captured using optical character recognition, and specific in-text coding can be performed to capture all references to a name, organization, or any other item, further enhancing the quality and performance of searches.
Another process frequently performed by D-Core is subjective coding, whereby document content is humanly summarized based on specific rule sets to help eliminate those documents that do not need to be reviewed further as opposed to those which might be of significant importance.
Whatever the indexing requirement is, D-Core provides the staff necessary to produce highly accurate data for populating all popular document management systems, allowing for the timely search and retrieval of documents pertinent to the case at hand.
D-Core also performs both logical and physical unitization to assure that multipage documents residing in electronic form are assembled according to their original bindings or other separators (staples, clips, rubber bands). This type of orderly presentation retains the integrity of the original hard-copy document set.
